Governor David Ige issued a Eighteenth Supplementary Proclamation dated February 12, 2021, suspending Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 92, Public Agency Meetings and Records, to enable boards to conduct meetings without any board members or members of the public physically present in the same location.

A. Presentation on Department of Education's reorganization plan to preserve classroom instruction:  temporary or permanent closure, consolidations, reorganization, restructuring, or merger of offices, programs, services, and positions for State Office, Complex Area, and School levels

A. Committee Action on methodology for compensation adjustments for Department of Education leadership employees (Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and Complex Area Superintendents) Leadership compensation adjustment, projected amount of funds required for adjustments, and source of funds for adjustments

Written testimony may be submitted on any agenda item. Oral testimony will be accepted at the meeting. Each individual is allotted four (4) minutes, or an amount of time otherwise designated by the Chairperson, to provide oral testimony to the Board. In accordance with Hawaii's Sunshine Law (Hawaii Revised Statutes, Chapter 92), testimony should be related to an item that is on the agenda.
