Format:  The data retreat format is designed to encourage governance-administration dialogue and collaboration. There will be a presentation on data relating to each office followed by a conversation about what the data tells us and whether it affects established priorities or suggests new priorities.

A. Data Presentation on Office of Strategy, Innovation and Performance indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

B. Data Presentation on Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

C. Data Presentation on Office of Student Support Services indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

D. Data Presentation on Office of Talent Management indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

E. Data Presentation on Office of Information Technology Services indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

F. Data Presentation on Office of Fiscal Services indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

G. Data Presentation on Office of School Facilities and Support Services indicators relating to Hawaii's public education vision, goals, objectives, and priorities

V.           Closing statements from Board Chairperson and Superintendent on takeaways from data retreat conversations

Written testimony may be submitted on any agenda item. Oral testimony will be accepted at the meeting. Each individual is allotted four (4) minutes, or an amount of time otherwise designated by the Chairperson, to provide oral testimony to the Board. In accordance with Hawaii's Sunshine Law (Hawaii Revised Statutes, Chapter 92), testimony should be related to an item that is on the agenda.
