You are invited to join the Board of Education ("Board") and the Department of Education ("Department") to get to know each other, share views on public education, and discuss the current draft of the Department's and Board's Joint Strategic Plan.  Your feedback will help the Board and Department finalize the Strategic Plan.  Additionally, you are encouraged to participate in both this community meeting and any town hall meetings in your area being held by the Governor's Every Student Succeeds Act ("ESSA") Team as both will also influence the state's ESSA plan in different ways.
